ADMIRAL IMPORTS APPOINTED EXCLUSVE IMPORTER FOR PISA LIQUEUR

Admiral Imports is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to become the exclusive USA Importer for Pisa Liqueur as of April 1, 2010. Pisa liqueur is an award-winning, unique blend of almond, pistachio and hazelnut flavors.

In the early 1990s the inventor of Pisa Liqueur took a romantic vacation with his wife in the Tuscan countryside. While enjoying the fantastic views, scenery and each other, they opted to capture that moment forever. Instead of capturing memories with a camera, the creator, who had experience as a distiller, came up with the idea of creating a fine nut liqueur and dedicating it to the area and city where they had their vacation. Almond, Pistachio and Hazelnut, all which have grown around the area of Pisa for centuries, were a natural choice for this new liqueur.

Pisa's distinct flavor lends itself to consumption neat, on the rocks, in cocktails and paired with or on desserts. “It is delightful to drink and clearly has a devout following. Since signing the agreement with Pisa, we have been receiving daily calls from retailers and consumers looking for it,” said Dan Lasner, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Admiral Imports.

Besides its unique flavor, Pisa's packaging is one of a kind. It comes in a patented slanted bottle that mimics the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is available in 750ml format for a suggested retail price of $22.99.

Pisa, which has previously been available in the USA, recently changed ownership and is now owned by newly formed Liqueur Pisa International BV of the Netherlands which is made up of a team of drinks professionals with decades of industry experience marketing international brands.
