SHEEP DIP
Scotch Whisky
Our peculiar name comes from a time when farmers hid their home-made whisky from the nosey excise officers in barrels marked “Sheep Dip”.
Young and sprightly like a new-born lamb, this enjoys a fresh, mouth-watering grassy style with a touch of spice. Maligned by some but to me a clever accomplished vatting of alluring complexity”
~ Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2006
Sheep Dip has been specially crafted by Richard
Patterson, Scotland’s only third generation Master Blender. Richard has selected single malts from the four traditional malt whisky regions, aged between eight and sixteen years and married them in fresh American oak barrels to produce this exceptional whisky.
Color: Rich gold copper highlights
Nose: Delicate and refined. Soft and sensual floral notes arise in perfect harmony supported by an array of complex fruit flavors. Melon, pear, and orange conclude this profusion of charming nuances.
Taste: Finesse and elegance gives way to a majestic assertion of pure malt flavors, drawn from the four distilling areas of Scotland. Each makes its own inimitable contribution to this outstanding pure malt —the main accent being expressed from the Highlands and Speyside valleys.
